One of the many things I offer, I believe is the most important part is that ALL of my jewelry is Made using the Virgin Process, meaning my jewelry, while its being made, is never touched by human skin.

I wear hand protection and face mask to ensure that when you receive your jewelry, your skin cells and your oils are the only ones to have made contact with the wood. The reason for that is, since the wood is porous, it has microscopic pores, and as it is being made or worn it is collecting any and all skin cells that touch it, any and all bodily oils and it deposits it in the surface of the wood.

I don't know if you have ever heard that you are not supposed to wear another persons' organic jewelry but its true, the reason being that their skin is all in the surface of that jewelry, if someone else were to wear that jewelry your skin could have a negative effect to their body chemistry among many other things. So I wanted to keep with that same idea and take my process a step further. So when you receive your jewelry, you can be confident that it will have your chemistry ALONE.

Body jewelry made of wood has great versatility. It is lightweight, so even a largely stretched piercing can be accommodated without discomfort. Wood comes in a variety of colors and hardness, depending on the source, which can be anything from the reedy bamboo to the rock-solid ebony.

Although most raw woods are relatively safe, there are some that could be considered toxic when brought into contact with the skin, especially for a duration. I ensure that I am well versed on the subject and guarantee my product to be safe.

Wood is also not recommended for long-term wear, cannot be autoclave sterilized, and is not recommended for new or unhealed piercings. Don’t allow wood jewelry to get saturated or over-heated (remove jewelry before swimming, bathing, or entering a sauna), but it can be safely cleaned with mild liquid anti-bacterial soap and a small amount of water, providing that it is dried immediately. Then it can be lightly treated once a week with jojoba or olive oil to prevent cracking. Tea tree oil can also be used for cleaning and to add sheen.
